I recently asked you all about what's been most stressful in December...
51% feels it is the job search. 35% feels it is their current job.
What this tells me:
The grass will not be 100% green on the other side... 🍀
Staying grounded and practicing mindfulness no matter the circumstances = the only way to make both (all!) situations better.
I will be spending more time the rest of this month on stress management - mostly for myself, but maybe some of it will be helpful for you too. 💕
FIRST UP:
JOURNALING ✍️
Putting my thoughts, fears, goals, challenges, annoyances (stuff I wouldn't say to ANYONE) down onto paper
⬇️
frees up space, makes me feel lighter, clearer, calmer.
Here's what works for me:
1. Consistency I journal in the morning after I wake up and meditate and/or before going to bed ( + during the day in emergency situations/when I don't in the AM 😉🚑)
2. Structured rituals / guiding questions
Some of my favorites (especially when I was exploring new jobs/opportunities:)
⭐ What excites me most?
⭐ What am I afraid of?
⭐ Where do I feel content?
⭐ Where do I feel the most comfortable?
⭐ What's the best thing that can happen?
⭐ What's the worst thing that can happen?
Always on the lookout for new questions!
