A few young women have asked me at Lumos House Miami what it’s like to be a woman in tech.

It’s amazing - because that is generally my mindset, and I use reality to find evidence for it, making work both fun and impactful.

Tech is the best space to be in and I want every woman and minority who has the interest, to enter it, thrive in it, make a lot of money, friends, mentors, impact and send the elevator back down.

I loved what Andrew Yeung and Matei Psatta / Blindspot were doing at sxsw bringing the tech community together.

I reached out to see if I can join the sponsorship team miamitechweek.

They said yes!

I like to invite myself to spaces, especially to ones that need more diversity in leadership.

‍‍Estrella Q. put the literal cake and cherry on top of it - going above and beyond, stepping up for the community.

She didn’t have to and no one asked her to.

And so the elevator goes… 🕊️Ladies, don’t leave the men behind.
