Happy anniversary to ... ME! 🙈🍾

I am celebrating my 3rd anniversary as an entrepreneur.🥹

‍

TLDR:

In life, the fear of change often holds us back.

Why?

Because change isn't roses and sunshine. 🥀☀️

It's a painful loss of the status quo.

Which is why many people stay in jobs (or relationships) they don't thrive in.

The "something is better than nothing" mindset is the hardest to let go of.

‍

I have only learned how to get better at it, because I have been practicing it.

‍

What helped me through my lowest lows?

My why... my desire to be surrounded by people I look up to, learn from & grow with.

‍

I left a stable job because I was curious to see how far I would get without it.

‍

(and by curious ... I mean terrified ... at least 50% of the time... 🥶)

‍

Esther Perel says that “the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.”

‍

Why have I not left the entrepreneurial journey in the last 3 years?

‍

Because of the relationships I have built.

Because it has allowed me to learn and grow at an unprecedented rate. 📈

‍

I have gotten to work with a larger, more diverse, smarter range of humans than ever before.

‍

And when I do miss being an "in house" recruiter, I take on embedded recruitment contracts with The Change Agents Talent: filling in for internal recruitment needs, developing long-lasting relationships and getting deeper into organizational structures, as well as talent recruitment.

‍

I like to fix things. I like challenges. I like learning and growing.

‍

Being "independent" not only means that I get to work with a larger variety of companies,

BUT ALSO,

I get both more attention and credibility from candidates.

Which was always a challenge in house: if someone is not interested in that 1 company, they won't be interested in talking to you...

‍

I could go on and on, but I gotta get back to interviews, so just here to say:
