BREAKING NEWS: Shelley Zalis removed "impostor syndrome" from the vocabulary ces2024 at The Female Quotient. ✅
What should we replace it with?
On the spot, I said confidence.
But upon reflecting on it, it wasn't the best word.
Why?
Confidence feels more like a byproduct... of actions.
But the foundation, the start, the action is... curiosity.
If you don't have it, trying to feel "confident" all the time can feel stressful, self-centered and overwhelming.
On the other hand, entering any place with "curiosity" feels open, exciting and achievable.
Being interested in others is so much more fun than pushing your own agenda. To be interesting, we have to be interested.
Shelley Zalis - so great finally meeting you IRL, really glad I followed my curiosity to get here.
Excited to share more quotes, thoughts and reflections from these 2 days - Equity Lounge FTW. ✨
